Nedrahovice: Hiking, Landscapes and Small Cultural Monuments

The Kamenické křížky Circular Trail

The Kamenické křížky circular trail leads through the Kamenice area of Nedrahovice and is five kilometres long. The route runs mainly along field paths. It owes its distinctive name to the crosses along the circular trail, which date from the mid-19th century. The route thus combines outdoor exercise with a specific historical detail that sets it apart from a purely scenic walk.

At a leisurely pace, the circular trail can be completed in about two hours. By mountain bike, it takes about 30 minutes. The different times help you fit the same route into your daily plans according to your chosen mode of transport, without limiting the character of the trail to just one type of visit.

Views and Water in the Surrounding Area

At Hadáčků křížek near Hluboký les, there are views across the Sedlčansko region from the southeast to the southwest. The viewpoint adds a wide landscape panorama to the experience of the trail and makes the surrounding region perceptible as an experience in its own right.

In Úklid stands the Husova lípa, the surviving remnant of an old linden tree. Local tradition holds that Jan Hus preached there. Úklid is also home to the Boží muka. It is one of the two cultural monuments in the territory of the municipality of Nedrahovice that are listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic.

The granite bell tower in Nedrahovické Podhájí bears a carved double cross on its front. The bell tower in Radeč contains a small altar with a cross and a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.
