Lichoceves: Landscape, Culture and Trails

Lichoceves lies on the western edge of Prague in a gently rolling landscape that is considered a recreational area. The Okolí Okoře a Budče Nature Park remains a valid protected-area designation. It was established by Decree No. 3/2011 of the Central Bohemian Region. The boundary of the nature park must also be taken into account in the land-use plan of the municipality of Lichoceves–Noutonice. For your orientation, this formal classification complements the landscape impression: in addition to the gently rolling surroundings, a documented protected-area framework is also part of the character of the region.

Culture and orientation in Noutonice

The Noutonice cemetery is open to the public daily from April 1 to October 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It has three freely accessible entrances, and 17 parking spaces are also available there. The daily opening hours and three freely accessible entrances provide a clear timeframe and spatial framework for your visit. Noutonice is also home to the Church of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. It was remodeled into its present form in 1682 by Abbess Anna Mechthilda Schenweisová of Eckstein, providing a specific historical connection during your stay.
