The place was formerly called “Na hrobích” and is documented in surviving parish records from Chvatěruby. The combination of the former name, written records, and the cross makes U Křížku a place where local history can be understood not only through a structure but also through its name.

The Column with the Holy Trinity

Another distinctive memorial site is the column with the group of figures depicting the Holy Trinity. It dates from the period after 1726 and is crowned by a stylized Staroboleslavské Palladium. It is flanked by statues of Saint Francis Xavier and Saint Roch. At similar monuments, both saints appear as patrons who were invoked in times of plague danger. The monument thus combines religious imagery with the remembrance of earlier epidemics.

Wooden Bell Tower and Historical Details

Kozomín’s Dřevěná zvonička is a wooden bell tower made from an angularly hewn beam on a concrete base and topped with a conical roof. The original bell dates from 1842 and is kept at the municipal office; a copy is located at the site. Since 2006, the Dřevěná zvonička has been listed among the cultural monuments.
