The castle itself is a Baroque building that was remodeled in the Neo-Renaissance style. It has a special historical connection to T. G. Masaryk: the castle served as the president’s summer residence in 1920 and 1921.

The park also contributes to the distinctiveness of the grounds. Some trees from America and China first arrived in the country through Hluboš Park. Church, Visual Art and a Distinctive Landscape Feature

The Church of the Holy Trinity stands prominently on a rise above the Litavka Valley. It is visible from the summit of Plešivec and from Svatá Hora near Příbram. The church’s construction history dates back to the end of the 17th century. It was originally built in the Baroque style and remodeled in 1877 in a Neo-Gothic-Romanesque style. Inside, biblical scenes by Kramolín have been preserved, depicting Abraham and the angels, the baptism of Christ and the sending out of the apostles. In addition, the Trinity Column in Hluboš features reliefs of Christ enthroned with a cross, God the Father with a globe, and the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Different details therefore take center stage when viewing the individual works: the church’s architecture, the religious visual themes inside the church, and the reliefs of the Trinity Column.

Hluboš is served by six regional bus lines operating at regular intervals. There are three stops in the administrative area: Hluboš, Hluboš – Loudilka and Hluboš – Kardavec.

The Hluboš castle grounds are privately owned and are made accessible to the public under certain conditions. If you are planning a stay in the gardens outside opening hours, the operator’s consent is required. This information is particularly important when planning the timing of your visit, because access cannot be assumed as a matter of course.
