Kamenná combines trails along the Oslava with a remarkably rich village history and a protected rocky landscape. This makes it possible to discover the area in different ways: as a starting point for marked hiking routes, as a destination for exploring cultural history, or as a setting for local festivals and community activities.

Hiking along the Oslava

A yellow-marked hiking trail runs through Kamenná from the railway station in Studenec via Pyšel and along a stream to the Oslava. Upstream, it continues to Velké Meziříčí. Another route lies in the vicinity of Kamenná: Along the cadastral boundary of Klementice and Studnice, a blue-marked hiking trail runs from Třebíč via Budišov and past the ruins of Dub Castle, through Tasov to Ořechov.

The Mlynářská stezka also runs along the Oslava past Kamenná. It begins near Nové Město na Moravě and ends in the area of Lower Austria. Those who want to compare different routes will therefore find a yellow-marked trail through Kamenná, a route running across the wider region and a blue-marked trail in the surrounding area.

Village Square, Manor House and Stone Heritage

The village square features two prominent reminders of the area's history: a chapel dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk and a monument erected in 1920 to the victims of the First World War. Another historical detail can be found on the residential section of the Buršík Manor House, above whose entrance the year 1807 is carved.

The Buršík Manor House has been historically documented in Kamenná since 1502, with Tomáš Buršík among the earliest documented references. At the same time, it is the most architecturally significant of the local houses. Kamenná also has stone sundials associated with local stonemasons. In the nearby area stands a Smírčí kámen, or reconciliation stone: the granite block is located approximately 500 metres from a cross in the direction of the Oslava and bears a carved patriarchal cross.

Protected Rock Formations and Special Places

Between the road from Budišov and the road to Klementice lies the protected natural formation “balvanovité krajinné ostrůvky”. This area includes Čertova ruka, the highest point of the formation, with the largest boulders. Near Kamenná, Thorovo kladivo is also attached to a large boulder at a lookout point. These places give the landscape distinctive names and turn a walk into a series of clearly identifiable discoveries.

Koupaliště and Local Events

A fire pond in Kamenná is used as a swimming area called “Koupaliště”. The area also includes a nohejbal court. The local events calendar adds living traditions to the landscape and architectural heritage: Masopust includes a masked parade and an evening dance. In July, Kamenná also hosts Kameňák, a beer triathlon.
