Protected insects include the critically endangered clouded apollo Parnassius mnemosyne, the endangered stag beetle Lucanus cervus and the endangered great capricorn beetle Cerambyx cerdo. For nature enthusiasts, Orlí hnízdo thus complements a stay at the Vranov Reservoir with a clearly defined protected area featuring a variety of habitats.

Cultural details with a history of their own

The cultural attractions include the Church of St. George and House No. 49. The tower of the Church of St. George has three bells. The current main altar was acquired in 1893. House No. 49 is an original farmstead with a granary.
