The history of Skopytce has been documented in writing since 1368. The landowners Jan, Petr and Pelhřim were associated with the village. In 1415, they signed a petition to the Council of Constance protesting the burning of Jan Hus. At the end of the 16th century, Skopytce was assigned to Choustník Castle. Thus, the historical traces extend from a specific conflict in the early 15th century to the village’s affiliation with a castle at that time. This creates a cultural theme that can be explored through names, dates and the connection to Choustník.

Pond cascades west and east of the village

The landscape includes two different pond cascades. West of Chabrovice lies a cascade of five small ponds; the lower ponds are called Runla and Chobot.
