Probulov – Cycling Route, Culture and Landscape

Cycling Route 1157 runs through Probulov between Krsice and Staré Sedlo. There are three small, unnamed ponds along the Probulovský stream. The small bodies of water complement the stream with individual water surfaces and give the landscape another focal point. The area of Probulov also extends into the “Údolí Otavy a Vltavy” bird sanctuary. The protected area provides a specific setting for observing nature. Northeast of Probulov, on Road III/12118, stands the listed immovable cultural monument “Kamenný podstavec s křížem”. Its location adds a clearly situated monument to the cultural destinations around Probulov.

The La Tène period belongs to the European Iron Age and refers to a historical era reaching far back in time.
