Hosty: Chapel, Nature and Cycling Route 1137

House No. 18 is a farmstead with its original gate and residential and agricultural sections. House No. 17 is an original granary. The property at No. 69 has a gable in the style of South Bohemian rural Baroque. The chapel and the properties therefore differ significantly in their floor plans, uses and designs.

Historical traces between the Vltava and Lužnice

Nový Dvůr is a historic farmstead at the confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice and is also a recreation center. The farmstead therefore brings together connections to historic farming and the river landscape. Remnants of graphite mines have been preserved on Kraví hora in the cadastral area of Hosty. Protected nature and a burial mound field

The Lužnice–Nežárka Natura 2000 site, a site of community importance, is located in the Hosty area. The Lužnice Nature Monument is also among the specially protected natural areas in the Hosty area. Cycling Route 1137 runs through Hosty toward Koloděje nad Lužnicí, where it connects to the main CC Lužnice route. The route thus establishes a clear focus on cycling in Hosty and leads toward Koloděje nad Lužnicí, where the connection to the CC Lužnice main route is located.
