Kozly U České Lípy is a destination for travelers who want to combine landscapes, cycling and small cultural and historical discoveries. Part of the municipality lies within the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. Kozel is another defining feature: the hill reaches an elevation of 598 m and, as a distinctive landscape element, contributes to the character of Kozly. Regional cycle route No. 211 passes through the Kozly area. Through Kozly, it runs between Dubá and Kamenický Šenov and then continues to the border crossing near Rožany on the German border. Via Kvítkov, this route also offers an alternative connection to route 211 and then continues along local roads to Karba and Zahrádky. The routes have different focuses: No. 211 connects Kozly with several places as far as the border crossing near Rožany, while No. 3086 links Kozly with Holany and, via Kvítkov, with route 211. Hiking Trails and the Reconciliation Cross

A green-marked hiking trail of the Club of Czech Tourists passes through Kozly. A yellow-marked hiking trail runs from Kozly in the direction of Bořetín; the Kozly reconciliation cross is also located beside a yellow-marked hiking trail. The medieval stone reconciliation cross above Kozly is 110 cm high and is one of approximately ten surviving stone reconciliation crosses in the Česká Lípa District. This makes it possible to combine a hike with a tangible reminder of regional history, without reducing the area to a single attraction. The markings provide additional orientation: green leads through Kozly, while yellow heads toward Bořetín and passes the reconciliation cross. Chapel, Historic Architecture and Special Details

The Chapel of Saint Procopius in Kozly was built in 1820 by the farmer Stefan Wenzel. The mineralogist Franz Hocke, who was born in Kozly, donated an altarpiece depicting Saint Procopius. The surviving architecture of a 19th-century house is also of interest to visitors. Another historic detail stands next to house No. 109: a large-leaved lime tree grows there, estimated to be 675 years old. Kozly therefore offers various points of interest for a stay, depending on whether you wish to focus on cycle routes, marked hiking trails, landscape formations or local history.
