History on the Border

Nedašova Lhota was first mentioned in writing in 1503. At that time, the settlement belonged to the Brumov estate and castle. The castle guarded the state border at the Vlárský průsmyk pass to Hungary.

The landscape includes protected juniper habitats in Rovnice, near Maleník, in Potůčky, and in Zadky.

You will also find several tangible reminders of the past in the village itself. Nedašova Lhota is home to a listed wooden log-built bell tower dating from 1867. The preserved cultural heritage also includes a brick bell tower from 1933 and a small bell from 1775. There is also a wooden fruit-drying facility near Fojtík Jan No. 14. The fire station additionally houses a four-wheeled hand-operated fire pump dating from 1902. Hiking and Cycling in Závrší

This route runs from Valašské Klobouky via Nedašov and Nedašova Lhota to Pruské.
