Koberovice

Koberovice combines rural cultural history with a distinctive upland landscape. The landscape around Koberovice features a varied hilly and upland relief. In the eastern foothills between Koberovice and Lísky, this relief gradually transitions into a landscape with deeply incised valleys. Bělský dvůr and the history of the village

The most prominent cultural and historical landmark is Bělský dvůr southwest of Koberovice. The estate is a registered immovable cultural monument and a Baroque rural estate dating from the 18th century. Its history goes back even further: Bělský dvůr once belonged to one of the nine farmsteads of Želiv Monastery. Bělský dvůr is an enclosed square courtyard. Renaissance rustication sgraffiti are still visible on the façade of the residential building. Several historical periods therefore come together at this single historic estate: its former connection with Želiv Monastery, the visible Renaissance details and the Baroque character of the rural courtyard. The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Koberovice itself dates from 1800. Together with Bělský dvůr, it forms a cultural theme that is not limited to a single building.

Cycling on two different routes

There are several options for cycling excursions in Koberovice. Cycle Route No. 1211 runs through the lower part of the Koberovice area along roads II/130 and III/12935 between Speřice and Miletín.
