Both buildings give the town centre a historical dimension that can be combined directly with exploring the town.

The history of the Jewish population is also part of the picture of Staré Město Pod Landštejnem. A Jewish settlement existed here around 1600. The Jewish cemetery near Staré Město Pod Landštejnem contains approximately 140 gravestones. The cemetery is located about 400 metres from the crossroads in the direction of the Světlov swimming pool. Another historical connection leads to Dobrohoř Chateau: after 1847, the administration of the Landštejn estate was housed in the newly built chateau.
