Discover Zadní Chodov

The Chodovská lípa stands on the road to Chodský Újezd in the valley of the Hamerský potok. Its location thus connects a specifically named road with a valley as a landscape area. The approximately 200-year-old small-leaved lime tree has a two-trunked stem with a circumference of 450 cm. Its crown is 23 m high. Since 1981, the lime tree has been protected as a landscape-defining element. As a protected individual tree, it adds a specific natural feature to the town's history.

Cycling and recurring tradition

For active days, marked cycling route 2201 passes through Zadní Chodov. The 18-kilometre route runs from Žďár via Trstěnice and Cech to Panská rozhledna. The markings and fixed length give cycling a clear framework. The route therefore provides an independent active focus alongside the cultural and natural themes.

During the year, a pilgrimage also takes place in Zadní Chodov. It adds a religious occasion to the town's themes, distinct from the landscape and cycling route.
