Javorník

Church, Chapel, and Local History

One of the notable buildings is the late Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity. It was built around 1800 and has a square tower. Christmas concerts have been held regularly in this chapel since the beginning of the 1990s. Thus, alongside its historic furnishings, it also has a documented more recent tradition of events.

Another historical reference dates from 1811: Jan Peschl had a farmstead with the U Jelena coaching inn built on part of a meadow provided by the Svitavy estate. On Foot, by Bike, and on the Road

The infrastructure along the main road is also relevant for finding your way from Svitavy to Javorník. A pedestrian and cycle path runs along it. Road No. 366 passes through Javorník and serves as a shortcut on the route between Svitavy and Hradec Králové.
