Rejdice between the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains

Rejdice combines winter sports, marked paths and a distinctive location at the transition between the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains. The focal point is the Kořenov–Rejdice ski resort in Dolní Rejdice. The surrounding area includes a chairlift with ski runs, three official cross-country trails, two marked cycling routes and the Ptačí Trail. You can therefore tailor your stay to the season and your preferred activity: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, a cycling tour or the Ptačí Trail.

Ski resort with clear orientation

The Kořenov–Rejdice ski resort is located in Dolní Rejdice at the transition between the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains. The access road from the Prague–Harrachov main road leads via Plavy, Zlatá Olešnice and Příchovice directly to the chairlift. The area can also be reached from above via the Příchovice–Vysoké nad Jizerou road. The ski resort is located directly beside this road below the roadway. The two access routes therefore lead either via Plavy, Zlatá Olešnice and Příchovice to the chairlift or from above via Příchovice–Vysoké nad Jizerou.

The two-seater chairlift is 700 m long and has a vertical rise of 120 m. Snowmaking and lighting are part of the ski resort's facilities. The ski runs are groomed daily. In winter, the lift, technical facilities and daily preparation of the downhill runs combine to form a clearly defined offering for skiers.

Three official, well-groomed cross-country trails are located in the immediate vicinity of Rejdice. There is also a connection to the Jizerskohorská magistrála. Cross-country skiers thus have several trails close to the village and can also incorporate a connection to this cross-country route. The downhill runs at the chairlift and the cross-country trails are associated with different winter sports, yet are located at the ski resort itself or in its immediate surroundings.

Cycling routes through the surrounding area

Rejdice can also be explored via marked cycling routes outside the winter season. Route 3026 runs via Zlatá Olešnice, Rejdice and Příchovice. On Route 3026, Rejdice lies between the villages of Zlatá Olešnice and Příchovice. Its route therefore connects three specifically named places. Route 4248 runs from Rejdice to the municipal boundary in the direction of Český Šumburk. On this route, the starting point is in Rejdice, while the destination is at the municipal boundary in the direction of Český Šumburk. There are therefore two different route options for cycling: one route via several places and one route from Rejdice in a specific direction to the municipal boundary.

Ptačí Trail from the Rejdice car park

The Ptačí Trail begins directly at the Rejdice car park and is less than 4 km long. From the Kořenov, Rejdice bus station, it is 250 m to the Ptačí Trail. For orientation on site, both the car park as a starting point and the bus station as a nearby reference point are therefore relevant.
