It was established in 1568 and expanded several times, most recently at the end of the 19th century. The cemetery contains 915 gravestones dating from 1572 to 1942. At the Arnoldinovský House, a permanent exhibition presents the Brandýs region in a mosaic-like way, complementing the individual buildings with a regional perspective.

Hluchov, a fragment of a floodplain forest, lies between Brandýs nad Labem and Stará Boleslav. The area has been specially protected as a nature monument since 1995. It preserves the typical flora and fauna of a floodplain forest, as well as communities of organisms found in the floodplains of major rivers. A floodplain forest is a forest in a river floodplain.
