Žlutava lies on the northwestern edge of the Zlín District in the foothills of the Chřiby Mountains. Church and Local History

The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius is located in the northeastern part of Žlutava village square. It was completed in the second half of 1939, and its tower is 17 meters high. These three details give the building a clear historical and spatial context without reducing a visit to a mere year.

The history of the surrounding area also includes the partisan group that monitored transports on the Přerov–Napajedla–Břeclav railway line.
