Below the dam, the Drahoňovský Stream flows. The Koblížek biocentre also includes a small pond next to a meadow with cabbage thistles. It is an existing, functioning local biocentre embedded in a supraregional biocorridor. The Koblížek Gold Find

The cultural history of Koblížek has a clear starting point. On 23 May 1922, Matěj Kadlec from Knížata found 20 gold coins while digging up tree stumps in Koblížek Forest. After he reported the find, gendarmes discovered a further 456 gold coins at the site. The event thus developed from a single discovery into a larger find at the same location. The date, the place of discovery and the connection with Knížata keep the episode closely tied to the landscape around Koblížek.

After the find, treasure hunters from the surrounding area searched at the Koblížek discovery site; from time to time, they found small coins there as well. A monument at Koblížek commemorates the find made by Matěj Kadlec from Knížata. The forest is therefore both a natural area and the setting for a specific local story.
