RAMPY: Activity for Different Age Groups

At the RAMPY complex, a pump track offers a course on which bicycles, scooters, skateboards and inline skates can gain speed by shifting weight on and off the wheels without pedaling. The nearly 600 m² concrete skate park is intended for non-motorized wheeled sports. A playground intended primarily for younger children complements the complex with soft safety surfacing and 3D play equipment where they can improve their motor skills and balance. The shared location within the complex helps you include different age groups: younger children have their own play area, while the remaining spaces accommodate various wheeled sports. In this way, RAMPY combines several forms of activity without requiring you to commit to just one wheeled sport.

Cycling History between the Czech Republic and Austria

If you are looking for a longer cycling tour with historical stops, Pamětí Vitorazska takes you along a 90-kilometre historical educational cycling trail. The circular route usually runs from Nové Hrady via the Austrian town of Gmünd and across the border to České Velenice. Twenty-nine interesting stops with information panels for learning and relaxation accompany the route. The 90 kilometres provide the tour with a broader planning framework, while the 29 stops divide the route into individual historical points of interest. Church, Trolleybus and FENIX

The Parish Church of Saint Agnes of Bohemia in České Velenice is a modern-style building based on a design by the Prague architect Pilc; it was built by the architect Staněk from Trhové Sviny. The stained-glass window in the apse of the presbytery depicts Saint Agnes of Bohemia. The church was solemnly consecrated on 22 December 1935. The church brings together its architectural form, pictorial subject and date of construction. Another historical perspective is offered by rides in a replica of the historic TMG 1907 trolleybus, which can be booked.

The Česko-rakouské komunitní centrum FENIX was created through the complete reconstruction of a former cinema building. Various events take place there.
