Landscape along the Orlička Stream

Orličky lies along the upper course of the Orlička Stream. In the surrounding area, a path follows the stream to the picturesque Hradiska Valley, which is enclosed by rocks on both sides. A notable experience is the Rozhledna Suchý vrch observation tower. The concrete tower is 33 metres high; its observation platform is located at a height of 22 metres and can be reached via 128 steps. The tower is accessible year-round and is a hiking destination in summer.

For winter sports, Červenovodské sedlo is one of the most important starting points for cross-country ski trails. In the Buková hora–Suchý vrch cross-country skiing area, between 50 and 80 kilometres of trails are groomed, depending on snow conditions. Church History with Specific Dates

The Church of Saint John of Nepomuk offers a cultural focus with clearly documented historical milestones. The foundation stone was laid on 18 September 1775, and the church was completed on 11 October 1778. It is dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk. The local history can therefore be understood not only in general terms, but also through two specific dates.

Traces of Crafts and Local History

The local history describes Orličky as a logging settlement. There may also have been glassmaking activity there. The cautious reference to glassmaking is an interesting part of the tradition: it expands the picture of the village with a possible craft-based past without presenting it as an established historical fact.

The Červenovodské sedlo Tourist Information Centre in Orličky provides information about the surrounding area, promotional materials, maps, postcards and public internet access. There is also a clearly described route to Kramářova chata: it can be reached via Main Road 11 from Jablonné nad Orlicí or Červená Voda, followed by a 3.5-kilometre paved road through the forest from Červenovodské Sedlo.
