A deed of gift for Županovice is dated 12 February 1235. Anežka, abbess of the Poor Clares convent in Prague, kept Županovice for three years and then bequeathed the village to the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star at St. Francis in Prague. The village’s early history can thus be linked to a specific gift and a named religious institution.

The order remained the lord of Županovice until serfdom was abolished in 1848. The two dates mark distinct milestones: the deed records the gift of the village, while 1848 marks the end of the order’s lordship. Together, they provide a timeline for the area’s historical development.
