Village History and Remarkable Buildings
Wall paintings from the second half of the 17th century have survived to this day in the former fortress of Čepřovice. The Chapel of the Guardian Angels stands in the village square. A particularly vivid example of rural architectural history is the enclosed farm complex No. 17: it comprises a residential building, stables with sheds, a granary that has now been converted for residential use, and livestock stables. A barn stands on its southeastern side. Between the gables of the residential building and the granary is a gate with a segmental-arched entrance. Farmhouse No. 17 also served as a filming location and appears in almost every film made in Čepřovice.
