Near the village centre, a stone cross with an enclosure stands by house number 31. Its inscription, “Nákladem obce Trotiny 1881”, preserves a specific date from the village's history.

Historical points of interest can be found both near the village centre and in Trotina's southern part, Končiny. Traditional building methods are also part of the village's character: Trotina is home to typical buildings of the folk architecture of the Podkrkonoší region. In Končiny, there are also the remains of the former “u Pourů” mill. Of the two former mills in Končiny, the first was a fine example of folk architecture. The Trotina stream rises near a former inn.
